I would also like to highly recommend Niko. I contacted him after the recommendations on this forum to install a new catflap and some other jobs (putting up pictures, repairs to skirting boards).

Niko carried out all the work very quickly, efficiently, professionally and with no mess at all to clear up. He is extremely pleasant, reliable and gave some great advice on the jobs I asked him to do. Exactly what I needed!

His phone number is 07818 607583

Another recommendation for Niko..he contacted me quickly came after work the same evening and fixed a problem that had stopped us using a downstairs bathroom for over two weeks..he was good value, friendly and helpful and I have no hesitation recommending him..Tim N

    • The Oxfam shop refusal may be because they have very limited storage space at the back of their very small shop?
    • I agree. The staff are always lovely!
    • Hi, does anyone know anything about the generator that seems to run from 7am every day in the car park of Dominic Court off The Gardens? I live in a property that backs on to that car park and it’s incredibly noisy and fumey. It’s been there for a long time now and it looks like it’s powering a site office for construction workers. Does anyone have any information about how long it will be there for, and who is operating it? I worry about the quality of the air as it’s like having a truck running constantly. And it’s very annoying to have it rumbling all day.
    • Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.
