I'd like to recommend a excellent tutor on here called Betsy Rowlands.

She tutored my daughter from year 2, who was falling behind for Maths and English. By year 6 she had caught up, grown in confidence and past her Maths SATS exceeding expectation for her age.

She has 13 years teaching experience and works part time as an intervention teacher preparing them for exams.

I second Jade's recommendation. Betsy has been doing sessions with our daughter who started in reception this September. I felt concerned that as a Summer baby and on the quieter side, our daughter might find the transition to school more tricky. The sessions with Betsy have been a great boost to our little girl, who has really enjoyed starting school with some confidence in phonics and numbers.

Betsy has a lovely temperament and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her as a tutor.
