Sally Eva
This is a two-hour ride starting from Peckham Square (Peckham Library, Peckham Pulse, SE15 5JR) at 10am and returning to the same place at 12 noon. The forecast is good -- cool, thin cloud, and not much wind. Outward route to Blackheath goes via Brookmill Park but mirabile dictu a new, less steep, route up to Blackheath and Greenwich Park has been found. Even pushing up the previous route was a slog. The return is along Quietway 1 turning south at Bridgehouse Meadows and then via Brimmington Park. All in all about 9 miles. I couldn't say it's all flat but most of it is. The route is at https://goo.gl/itW2R4 This ride is organised by southwark cyclists and we are the borough branch of the London Cycling Campaign which campaigns for safer cycling in London. Most of us are members but you don't have to be. Most of us live in Southwark but you don't have to. It's all free and as welcoming as we can make ithttps://southwarkcyclists.org.uksally Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/171886-sociable-cycle-ride-sat-october-28th/ Share on other sites
