Hi, I have a lovely house to rent I converted (I'm an architect/designer) in SE20 7PS. It's an old woodwork shop now converted in an amazing detached 2 bed house... really cute. It's about 5 min from two stations in Penge and near a bunch of shops/restaurants. It is avail from early/mid dec and rent is ?1425pm (standard shorthold tenancy agreement).   Just a note of caution for you Nigello - trees planted too close to houses can cause terrible problems with subsidence.

  Yes, Sainsbury’s do recognise USDAW but I wonder what proportion of shop floor staff actually join up these days. Or become H&S reps etc. Unions only work if people participate.
