Sally Eva
this is a commuter ride leaving out the crush, the waiting, the heat and the congestion. We take about 35 minutes to get from Peckham Rye to Blackfriars Bridge and we do not go fast. I?m the pace-setter and I go about 8mph. Occasionally I overtake (small) children but I?m generally overtaken by everyone else.Come with us and learn off-road and segregated routes to central London via Blackfriars. We bike-buddy riders to their final destination. Escorted all the way and totally free. The Bike Train starts at 7.45am from Nunhead station, 7.55am from Peckham Rye Station. The starting point in Peckham is the bike stands behind McDonalds. Today we are using Quietway 1 ? London?s first and best Quietway. It runs from Greenwich to Waterloo with spurs to all bridges and it runs close to Peckham and Nunhead. We get to the river about 8.30am and then we can split up depending on which where you are going and which bridge you want to use. Return rides arranged on request.
