How do I get my little boy to try a larger variety of foods??

There are some things he will always eat and I rely on these but it means cooking two meals every evening. If I do manage to get something new in his gob he invariably spits it out.

Is it a phase?( A very long one)

Anyone have any tips or success stories I can cling to in hope...?

It's a phase

I think it lasts from about 2/4 yo

You can try things like having it on your own plate

Eating together

small portions of attractively served food

Bribery

Trickery

But IME it's a bit of a waste of energy

I think the best two tiPs are relax and try to avoid a battle and to keep offering a variety - for eg by having shared serving dishes and a mix oF foods eg you have a joint dish of pasta and grated cheese for with sauce and veg on the side

We eat lots of meze sort of meals or fajitas/wraps so everyone can tSke what they want .. Meat option, veggy option, carbs and salad/veg

It was unlocked again this morning though and I definitely locked it last night.   The car was outside my front door and the keys near the door inside so I assume this is a relay theft  issue with someone using a remote key reader. I would advise keeping keys away from the front door. I have reported to police.
