Thames Water roadworks

I noticed that Thames Water roadworks are starting again by Nigel Road and I have a bad feeling about it: does anyone know if the plan is to carry on all the way down and along Peckham Rye?

I noticed some roadworks between Nigel Road and the top of Rye Lane this morning, and my heart sank too. Whatever they intend doing, the temporary traffic lights are back causing the inevitable delays. Traffic backed up to East Dulwich Road this morning. The vans didn't say Thames Water though.

Those rogue tarmac ramps down opposite the station appear to have been conveniently forgotten about by the council.
