Frankito
I say we build a massive Waitrose bang in the middle of Peckham Rye Common. There is more than enough space and think of how many jobs it would create.... HonaloochieB
I'd like an M&S but just for the Limeade Cooler. As I have mentioned before I have never been in a Waitrose so it would be nice if they invested a large amount of money and opened one so I can try them out.I make no promises that'll be a 'regular' though, it all depends on my first impressions. However if I'm satisfied my account will be well worth having. Guest
Would M&S let you in after the alleged shoplifting incident? (See, I do listen sometimes.)Maybe we should plan a field trip to Clapham or Balham Waitrose for the uninitiated. Mmm - warm, cosy feelings just thinking about it... maxxi
A shoplifting field trip to Waitrose? I'm in, but we should plan it carefully... splitting up by the truffles and loitering around the goji berries will confuse the security staff... I think my nephew has series one of Hustle on dvd so i shall research this. HonaloochieB
MsB - I have withdrawn my custom from the Brixton branch of My M&S after the 'incident'.I dispatch one of my legal johnnies there for my Limeade Cooler which he purchases sub judice without prejudice. And I beg of you not to make any reference to 'shoplifting', I was merely borrowing a couple of items on account. On account of I was a little short of the readies at the time. Guest
I did say 'alleged'. And may I say how brave you were for risking it given the size of the security guard on the door.Maxxi, I confess I wondered from your previous posts if you were one of those bot things but now I'm not sure. brummie
oh jeez, learn to cook ffs, and then you dont need M+S. Go to SMBS, Go to the fantastic Cheese Block! The little Greek Deli next to Chener Books, maybe the EDD (East Dulwich Deli) or the market in North Cross Road but please support the local folk here. I have to say I support Iceland too, not everyone in East Dulwich can pay premium prices for grub we are not that sort of social mix around here. Now if M+S took over one of the wretched estate agents that infests Lordship Land then I wouldn't object:) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/17024-does-ed-need-an-ms-say-yes/page/4/#findComment-444603 Share on other sites
