Can we have a moan about the hot weather and the affect it has on the sprogs?

9pm, we've had multiple hot, restless wake=ups from Cheeky S whose room is 25 degrees. Baby in nappy, not much else, with window cracked open. Total nap refusal due to being too hot/excited for the past few days, constipation (although he's had LOTS of fluids- enough wet nappies to make your head spin), and helpful comments from strangers about lashing the suncream on aforementioned child (we have done, thanks...)

Could we ALSO have a moan about being pregnant in this heat? It's crap. End of.

I like colder weather personally, bring back the trusty gro-bag nights!

Moan, groan, grumble.

Oh dear!

Hot weather seems to have the opposite effect on my two, they sleep really well (probably due to being overheated, oh well...). Up early in the mornings though as it's so sunny, but I don't mind so much as when it's sunny I'm much more eager to get up myself.

Pregnant in the heat is miserable though, I sympathise. My daughter was born in June, I really struggled from April onwards when the sum started shining. Lots of icy cold drinks and cool baths!

You can't have too much longer to go now?

I'm full term in about 9 weeks, I feel like she's making a break for it now though.

Seb was sleeping pretty well from Thursday- about 4 hours ago, not sure what is up. GO TO SLEEP SEB. Husband taking him to Lisbon without me in a few weeks, don't know how they'll both cope in 30-34 degree weather. Won't be much I will be able to do about it, I'm staying Home Alone (Bliss! LIE INS!)

Ooooh lovely, enjoy! I had 3 nights alone a couple of weeks ago before joining my lot in Scotland and it was fantastic. Felt a bit guilty at the airport dropping them off when my son, with a very ernest little face said "oh Mummy, you'll miss us and be sad won't you?". There I was trying hard not to grin like a cheshire cat and desperately trying to convince hubby to go through security so I could go shopping!
