snorky
A seminar and open discussion on "fermenting the permanemt revolution - ED style" would be a winner Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/169-festival-fair-on-goose-green/page/2/#findComment-2583 Share on other sites
Huguenot
Traditionally one would foment reveolution rather than ferment (which creates beer), but in this case Snorks I'm particularly impressed by the play on words from an ED perspective.I can picture an ED 'Shaun of the Dead' moment with the upright but demented citizens of ED viciously mixing grains and adding yeast... bag after bag, vat after vat with a relentless and deranged determination to overthrow the government by sheer weight of wort. Quaywe
Let's have a chain store pie throwing competition! We can get managers of Starbucks, Nero, GBK, M&S, White Stuff all to stick their heads through a hole in a wall while the local ED residents throw cream pies at them. Maybe have prizes from local independent business owners such as a free coffee from Drum, a yummy greek salad from EDD, a rack of lamb from William Rose or maybe a free dinner at Thai Corner! Michael Palaeologus
or perhaps a Yuppie Incomers vs Down-Trodden Cockerneys sporting competition. The Yuppie Incomers would be given a handicap on account of the Down-Trodden Cockerneys all having rickets; and there's no mistakin', Guv.
