Renting while house being refurbed/extended. How easy?

Anyone have any advice on the best way to go about finding a rental property while we refurbish and extend our house? We need to move out (4 kids in the house each day) and will probably need to be out for at least 5 or 6 months. Best to go through an agent? Thanks

You could Try Airbnb and negotiate a special monthly rate directly with the owners, less hassle and no bills etc.. to deal with
