We have an excellent double room for rent in a quiet, residential area but walking distance to bustling Brixton and trendy Peckham. The room has been recently refurbished. We have a garden space and a large roof terrace with great views of London.

The room is furnished with a comfortable king size bed or if you want it can be switched for a single bed which will give you more space. There is also a desk, small table, tall shelving cabinet, large chest of drawers and a clothes hanger. The floor is wooden.

All this is included in the monthly price (?900 PCM):

- Gas

- Electricity

- Fast Fibre Internet (No landline)

- Council Tax

- Water

- Weekly Housekeeper (We like to keep the place clean)

We are a young professional couple that live-in the property. Josef runs a 3D printing studio nearby in Peckham and Jen works in the tennis industry. We both love the occasional game at the local tennis court :)

We are looking for a clean and quiet housemate to share the flat with us, the room is suitable for professionals and students as it is walking distance to King's College (KCL) and Camberwell College of Arts (UAL). We're looking for an individual so no couples please.

The area is very green and there are lots of parks, running, gyms, leisure facilities nearby, it's close to Peckham, Brixton, East Dulwich and Camberwell with lots of different shops, cafes and restaurants to discover. There is also a large Sainsbury's supermarket 10 mins walk away. You may have not heard of Denmark Hill but it is a real gem and from it you can reach every part of London easily from Central, East, West and even get a direct train out to the countryside should you like.

Denmark Hill station (Zone 2) is 5-10 minutes walk away (Overground, Thameslink & South Eastern) and trains take 10 minutes to Central London, There is also East Dulwich station which is just 10-15 minutes walk away. At the end of the road there is a bus stop with 24 hour buses (176, 185, 40, 484).

It's a great room in a excellent green and safe location a real find within Zone 2.

    • Hi there. If you have any half-tins of varnish (or any type of wood finish) that you're not going to use and you would like to get rid of it without dumping it, i can come and collect and will put it to good use.  I am interested in all wood finishes, natural or synthetic, including: varnish, tung oil, Danish oil, teak oil, linseed oil, polyeurathane, acrylic, wood stain, decking oil, deck varnish, yacht varnish, spar varnish, lacquer, beeswax, shellac, etc. (no paint thanks). Let me know what you have and we can agree a pickup time. Also happy to do contactless collection if you prefer to just leave it outside.  Thanks
    • It doesn't need redeveloping.  The skate park is a perfect use.
