We've been twice this Easter break already - with a 5 and a 3 year-old - it's an amazing facility. Also been to the Dog Kennel Hill Adventure Playground last week. Loved it. Seems to be aimed at a slightly older group and is not run by Southwark Council. Open 11 - 6 weekdays during the holiday. Check out their website here

Hellow...glad you enjoyed yourself citizenED oh I mean glad the kids did! Feel free to drop me any questions regarding the playground guys. x

P.S we have a page on our site where you can 'sign our guest book' & let us know how much you love us lol!

Dog kennel hill adventure guest book

I see lots of younger children there who have come along with older siblings and they seem happy playing on the balancing beams or swinging on the tyres (with mum and dad's assistance!)

I often take my little 1 year old son there with my 8 year old daughter and we sit on a blanket in the sun with toys while she plays on the ropes, he loves watching the other kids. It's all very laid back there and a good way to spend a free afternoon :)

Our playground is aimed at children over 5...8 if unattended but as long as your with little ones they can have lots of fun. yep-they will try things they cant do...but thats all part of the challenge! I used to go there when I nannied...with a baby in buggy, 4 yr old & 7 year old. We dont have activities directly aimed at the little ones tho.

P.S were having an easter egg hunt Wednesday-all ages welcome.x

    • I expect for many of us this is the case.  I'd start a separate thread but I imagine this is already as far as it will get.
    • Been with  them for years but over the last year, service has really dropped. Can’t load or access site and having finally found a contact number for them, have confirmed that for months now they have had internet problems. Can’t even make calls on a regular basis. Didn’t even want to encourage me to stay!  So sadly I am off. Been recommended Labara - looks good and I believe piggy backs off Vodaphone which can’t be as bad as Three. Any views? Tks.

    • Just to say my practice has sent me to TJ for a few appointments, including Saturday and Sunday at short notice, with both nurse and doctor. The service is completely separate to the GP practice based at TJ and is run by the Extended Primary Care Service, I believe on behalf of several GP practices in the area.  "The Enhanced Access Service provides patients in south Southwark with additional GP and nurse appointments. This means that there is primary care available seven days a week. On any given day, these appointments help a GP practice to manage their capacity and provide care for their patients even if their own appointments are fully booked. We offer enhanced access arrangements within south Southwark." https://www.ihlsouthwark.co.uk/enhanced-access-service
