iPhones do make for amusing posts!! Why are parents today so much softer than the 70's? To be honest it wasn't exactly tough in the 70's.... You just didn't get as much and discipline seemed either stricter or more effective!

I am already choosing my battles and my daughter only 15 mths!! Eek, is there any hope? On a positive note she doesn't tend to get up until 730 am :-) (nothing to do with my parenting, that's just when she wakes!)

I once woke up (recently) to feed my 4 month old only to find that I was already propped up in bed feeding him. Spooky.

I often read the EDF when I'm up feeding in the wee hours wondering who else was out there doing the same .... I thank the iphone for this luxury.

    • The couple who I joint own the freehold tend to dictate on what work is needed. I usually just pay half but they usually decide the contractors to use.
    • I am sorry to  continue this, but I found your previous  comment about me very personal,  disturbing and upsetting, which was why I responded at length. I'm sorry it bored you. I try to stick to facts. I have investigated. You (and anyone else) can go into the "search" settings on here and  do a search on an author's name. So you can (I presume) find all my posts, including any which were  replying  to you. I can't imagine that they are in greater numbers than my replies to anyone else, but you can see for yourself. I guess you can probably also find examples of what you call my "usual sarcasm". I wasn't aware that l had a tendency to sarcasm, though I do find a lot of things funny.  There is no need to reply to this unless you actually find evidence in support of what you said. Sorry everybody else. I had to get it off my chest as I was lying awake last night worrying about it 😭

    • The Section 20 is just notification of intention to carry out works.  You have the right to object, propose an alternative or find different contractors. If you are joint freeholders why is your co freeholder acting unilaterally?  What is your usual mechanism for making decisions?
