The annual 4ALL Community Autumn Fair is taking place this weekend (Saturday 23 Sept) to bring together the diverse communities of West Dulwich, West Norwood, Tulse Hill and Herne Hill, while raising money for the local charity 4ALL.

This is the 9th year the Community Autumn Fair has taken place, and local residents are invited to come down, socialise with their neighbours and get in the party spirit.

There will be over 50 stalls showcasing the best the local community has to offer, from local produce and presents on sale, to charities championing their causes and highlighting the incredible work they do in the area. Fair visitors will also be able to enjoy a BBQ throughout the afternoon, a jazz duo playing in the sunshine, choirs singing, as well as lots of activities for children and families, plus a penalty shoot-out organised by Fulham Football Foundation.

Last year the community raised nearly ?2,000 for the local charity 4ALL, after more than 500 people came along to the Community Autumn Fair. 4ALL is a local charity that works in and around West Dulwich, promoting community engagement, running after school clubs for young people, as well as a community choir and exercise group for older people.

Jenny Pick, one of the organisers of the Fair, said: ?We?re so excited to be once again putting on this important celebration of our local area. This is an incredible, diverse and thriving community with so much to offer.

?Whatever your background and wherever you are, we want you to come along to this year?s Community Autumn Fair to enjoy yourself and see what?s going on locally.?

Helen Hayes, the local MP for Dulwich and West Norwood added: ?The 4ALL Autumn Fair is always a wonderful celebration of the diversity, vibrancy and strength of community in Dulwich and West Norwood. I?m look forward to this year?s fair and I hope to see many local residents there.?

Everyone is welcome to join in the celebrations on Saturday 23 September from 2pm ? 5pm, in and around All Saints Church, Lovelace Road, West Dulwich, SE21 8JY.

    • Have you seen the new guide? It doesn't say  anything at all about food waste compostable bags. It says to put food waste directly as it is from the kitchen caddy to the larger outside caddy. What do you mean by "small leftover waste"?  Recycling waste always goes in the blue bin? Surely we aren't meant to be wasting black plastic bags every week by always putting non recyclable items into a black bag before putting them into the green bin? Surely the whole point of the green bin is to avoid using one-use-only plastic bags? I'm even more confused now 🤣
    • I want to endorse these reviews of Niko.  I had a problem with my toilet flush and he was able to resolve it. He is reliable, efficient and has a friendly and professional manner. I would have no hesitation in recommending him and will definitely turn to him again with any future plumbing needs.
    • I hadn’t realised it had been painted over. Seems a damn shame.
