siousxiesue
Although it's the smallest room in the house, I want my bathroom to be toasty warm without heating everywhere else. What's the simplest easiest way to do this? I saw a ceiling light once which could be turned on to heat also, not sure if they still exist? Anyone? Gaynor Hill
I've had underfloor heating put in cheap to run and not to pricey either Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/167568-cold-bathroom/#findComment-1176818 Share on other sites
IlonaM
I recently had a Dimplex electric heater for the bathroom fitted as last winter the bathroom got verry chilly. I can turn it on for 5-120 minutes and warm up the bathroom at will:https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dimplex-FX20V-Wall-Mounted-Heater/dp/B000BNDGF2 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/167568-cold-bathroom/#findComment-1176835 Share on other sites
Loz
If you have a tile floor, then underfloor heating is really effective. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/167568-cold-bathroom/#findComment-1176872 Share on other sites
Townleygreen
"If you have a tile floor, then underfloor heating is really effective."Yes I agree, this would be the best solution. BUT you'd have to have your floor tiles removed, the underfloor electric wiring laid and connected, and then new tiles laid on top.So not a cheap option, but the best long term solution. Lovely and warm on the feet, of course and the air above. Ideal. You can also control the timings individually, so - if wished - just have it on in the morning when you're all using the room. Loz
True, TG, it does somewhat fail the 'simple' requirement! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/167568-cold-bathroom/#findComment-1176907 Share on other sites

Sue
I have a dual fuel radiator/towel rail which I originally got to dry towels when the main heating wasn't on.I've only used the electric option about twice, but it could be a cheaper solution than underfloor heating?
