candj
How on earth did you get to Green Park using Boyles Law? Surely it's Knightsbridge. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/16668-mornington-crescent/#findComment-425825 Share on other sites
David Mc
Boyle's Law is more commonly known as Susan's Convention - perhaps you know it by that candj? Green Park was valid if unimaginative. It's after midday, so COCKFOSTERS. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/16668-mornington-crescent/#findComment-425827 Share on other sites

David Mc
Oooh the Nevsky Prospekt. I've always wanted to play that but have only read the theory. I think CHANCERY LANE should be legal? candj
Yup it's legal David Mc. Good one, however, BELSIZE PARK. (Tee hee) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/16668-mornington-crescent/#findComment-426106 Share on other sites
David Mc
If it really was closed then the game couldn't end (except via the Dollis Hill Loop) but it's a blatant lie! Anyway, candj's move forces a DLR shift. MUDCHUTE. With the weekend coming up, beware of engineering works! David Mc
May I suggest that moves are explained (for a few rounds at least)? It might encourage new players if they could see the rationales involved. For clarity, online games are, by default, played using the basic Metropolitan System with Trellis modifications (abridged). This includes Boyle's Law/Susan's Convention and the obvious others. Additional rulesets (like the flippant yet fun Lordship Lane Protocol) can only be incorporated by spending a purple token - take note Ms B! Thank you.So - staying outside the Circle Line and in the spirit of my previous move to Mudchute, ARSENAL. *Bob*
I won't be encouraged. The whole 'game' reeks of Barry Cryer, corduroy trousers and longwave smuggery.
