Hello,

I'm considering buying an Oyster Pram but want to try first / see if it fits in car etc.

Mothercare (Old Kent Roadf) do not have them in store, have to buy online?!

I've tried calling local 'baby shops' but not one of them answers their phone!!! (Don't they want my business?)

Can anyone recommend where to go to try out an Oyster Pram?

Or make a recommendation of where to go to buy prams? (I'm a mum to be and all this baby shopping is a little new to me).

Thanks,

You can buy them from a shop called babynest on the a23 (purley way) just outside Croydon. My sister has just bought one from there. Failing that am sure you may find a nice forum mum who will let you take a spin in theirs. If you can wait a couple of weeks am sure my new niece/nephew will be visiting soon.

    • FOUND! I’m absolutely delighted to say that, after nearly two months, Rexy has been found and is now safely back home. He’s a bit skinny and tired but otherwise seems well. Thank you to everyone who kept an eye out, reached out or messaged with potential leads. And of course, to the wonderful couple who managed to gain his trust and messaged us. We are over the moon and he is enjoying some hearty meals and home comforts to start his recovery! Thank you all again. 🤗
    • Rising rents and business rates. That's what you're thinking of isn't it?..
    • I could hazard a guess as to why the "excellent long-term barber" in Forest Hill closed down.
    • All the parents looking after their kids instead of skiving from their meaningless desk jobs might mean it's quieter on here. Still, at least it gives free rein to the bad-tempered, long-winded pensioners that begin their posts "having resided in Dulwich for a not inconsiderable number of decades, may I be so bold as to suggest..." 😉
