Award winning Big Fish Little Fish Family Rave this Sunday

So this Sunday it's Big Fish Little Fish 'Pirate' family rave at The Bedford pub in Balham. We've sold more than three quarters of the tickets but there are still some left. Our DJ for the afternoon is Bunf from the Super Furry Animals, we've got Nordoff Robbins coming along to promote their 'Get Loud' campaign with a free singing workshop and wireless headphone raffle, Bubble babysitting app are bringing some excellent play leaders to engage with the kids and are offering free drinks if you download their app. Free glow sticks and transfer tattoos. Facepainting stall and cake stall. BFLF take the stress out of weekend parenting and help you re-live your clubbing years with added fun for the kids (crafts, fancy dress, bubbles, glitter cannons and giant balloons). Plus there's a bar!

  For the past 5 years, my family has decorated the sad little tree propped up by a post in Dulwich Park, for Christmas. We call it the Dinosaur Tree. Every year we put one more bauble on than the year before. We’ve really loved seeing that other people - we have no idea who- have joined in and also put up decorations. We’re (hopefully) moving further afield soon so won’t be nearby to decorate next Christmas. We just wanted to say thank you to everyone that gave us joy by joining in, and we hope you keep the tradition going 😊

  Our street put them out ready for collection last Tuesday, the rubbish and food bins were emptied but the trees weren’t taken, neighbouring roads were. All back in the front gardens ready for Tuesday. Don’t generalise.
