They often sell it at The Village Grocer (formerly known as Payless) on Bellenden Rd.

Wing Tai - The Chinese supermarket on Hanover Park off Rye Lane. On the left hand side of the shop (as you go in).

Also Persopolis (the Persian deli on Peckham High Street) has jars of pickled turmeric - like the Indian lime pickle - which is delicious and very addictive.

What do eat the pickled turmeric with?

It's a spicy pickle/condiment like the lime pickle you have with curry (Pataks etc) but with chunks of turmeric instead of lime - great with cheese, cold cuts, anything you might ordinarily have pickle or chutney with. Seriously delicious and addictive.

Looks like it might be good on toasted cheese crumpets.
