I've improved this for you Holloway. I always sing, 'are we humans or are we hamsters?'

Actually - "Are we human or are we dancer?" - I believe.

Which is worse I think.

Nah ! 80s Genesis innit.

The classic song-written-while-on-something-illegal, MacArthur Park.

MacArthur Park is melting in the dark

All the sweet, green icing flowing down

Someone left the cake out in the rain

I don't think that I can take it

'Cause it took so long to bake it

And I'll never have that recipe again

A to zee ? :(

As I cuddled the porcupine

He said I had none to blame, but me.

Held my heart, deep in hair.

Time to shave, shave it off, it off.

No time for romantic escape,

When your fluffy heart is ready for rape. No

Crap lyrics but possibly one of the best songs ever written! Genesis "Back in New York City" 1974

Same as everyone else really. Maybe they were doing a public service by alerting parents to the existence of such people as Mr LaPage down the hall...that's of course if their parents were into the band in the first place...

    • Many are enduring the cost of living crisis. Whilst I feel for single people living alone, the point is many families also feel squeezed financially so you saying it's fairer for larger households to pay more for water consumption is a bit mean spirited. There are many many situations people find themselves in and one could also argue that single people living alone in 3 bedroom houses are disadvantaging families by taking up more space than needed. The discussion could go right down a rabbit hole. The basic point is water should be free. It was until privatisation and now it feels like yet another tax on working families.  I'm using the term hardworking families because we've been hard hit by many increasing bills. That isn't to take away from single people or those without kids. Obviously everything (well most things) are choices. Everyone is entitled to free speech last time I checked. Why does the term hardworking families bother you so much?! Jeez...
    • I've not had any success over the last three years.  Repositioning it this year.  I heard of some twitchers homing in on a nest as they could hear a swift, only to find out that it was a recording which attempts to lure swifts in.  We only have a small number above Horniman Gardens.  I've seen them close to ground in Sydenham and Clapham  I think half the issue is disruption in and from their wintering grounds where there are less favourable conditions than in years gone past.
