Did you know there's a public meeting tonight, 20.15 at the community centre on Crystal Palace Road? It's about the proposed late night pharmacy and needle dump. Seeing as the thread here was shut due folks getting ott with each other it might be quite charged and worth a look.

I got a leaflet through the post. Its not an official 'public meeting' (that has various requirements). Its the usual Bara General Meeting, but everyone is welcome to attend. Bara's main topic is the pharmacy, but I've seen that there are also quite a few others topics on the agenda.

Glad to see we amuse from time to time - the SLP always has had a slightly macabre take on things, and we get away with far more dark humour than you'll find in other local papers.

I have to admit I never buy and rarely read the rag, simply because of those hideous headlines and how it seems to be aimed at - well, no that would be offensive to say. Am I a snob? One thing though. Can you get a bit of commonsense back there. Some of the stuff your paper writes is way over it
