Maths Tuition - Back to school primer courses

Recommended Posts

Hi all

I am offering private tuition, tailored to your child's requirements, over the Summer for maths students going into GCSE or A-Level years, helping them gear up for the challenging courses ahead. I will also be available into September to support your child as they start their courses.

GCSE

Get your child prepared for the tough new specification - fix any gaps in their knowledge and give them a head start for the year ahead. Remember, the new grading system makes this vital qualification more competitive than ever.

I can also help your child develop their understanding of the mathematical skills required in the sciences, if necessary.

AS/A2 Level

Help your child move their mathematical thinking up a notch with a personalised transition course, guiding them from their existing knowledge smoothly into the new principles they will have to apply, as well as providing them the necessary basics of the mechanics and statistics they will be using.

About me

I am a maths student with A* grades in all the relevant qualifications, with recent experience tutoring GCSE students privately (both edexcel and AQA specifications), as well as leading Saturday GCSE classes at a Lewisham school, where I have also recently devised and run an extension course for top year 10 students who intend to apply for Maths and Further Maths A-levels. I have up-to-date experience of the A-level courses, including the new specification, and in particular mechanics, although I have all the necessary statistical knowledge. I am fully DBS checked, and can supply references.

Thanks for your consideration,

William Muraszko

    • Wren is most abundant bird in the UK but not a garden visitor.  I've seen one on the garden, but if you are quiet on the horniman pathetic you may see several flying out of the hedgerow.
    • Male wrens build multiple nests to attract a mate, so don't worry if you see a nest built which isn't used. Doesn't mean the wren is dead, just that the jenny wren was picky.
    • Thanks, I had googled!    There is loads of info online, but I just wondered if anyone locally had more specific knowledge. It looks like it's probably too early for it to nest, but nevertheless I don't want to drive it away, as I like having birds in my garden!
