IlonaM
As well as on here (which can be a very source of free/cheap furniture, household appliances etc.), also check out Freecycle (Southwark has a group if you live within the borough, or else the Freecycle website will find your local group: https://www.freecycle.org/browse/UK/London).Also have a look in the local charity shops for cheap pots, pans etc. Lordship Lane has several shops, including St Christopher's Hospice shop - all raising money for good causes.IKEA is online as well as in East Croydon - source of cheap - mid price cutlery, pans etc. Lidl (Peckham and elsewhere) often has special offers on various kitchen/garden etc. stuff. And some of the supermarkets have well-priced ranges (Tesco, Asda, Sainsburys, Morrisons etc.). It used to be the case that Freecycle want you to give something before you can collect, is this still the case? Are you suggesting that they want cash? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/163756-need-kitchen-stuff-free/#findComment-1166826 Share on other sites
Rosetta
Also, try Streetbank. You can offer, and ask for things. Just need to join. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/163756-need-kitchen-stuff-free/#findComment-1167285 Share on other sites
[email protected]
Hi Maggie, I have some pots and pans and a large bin that I'm getting rid of - they're in pretty good condition although they are a few years old. I live in Herne Hill if you wanted to have a look. They're free. ThanksHelen Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/163756-need-kitchen-stuff-free/#findComment-1167479 Share on other sites
