Vik
I suffer very badly with hayfever too, though later in the year so must be allergic to something different. My GP prescribed me nasal spray and eyedrops whilst pregnant, the nasal spray really did the job, will be getting a prescription soon as will be breastfeeding throughout my bad months, take advantage of free prescriptions and stock up now! candj
My consultant allowed me to use piriton tablets and beconase nasal spray with my horrible hayfever. Good luck, I feel for you! ClareC
My friend is a GP, she advised to try homeopathic remedies but if you really can't manage piriton is the best option of all the antihistamines. ludoscotts
I used the saline spray for your nose which flushes the pollen out. and try putting vasaline around the edges of your nostril. its a pain having to keep putting it on/in but it does work catching the pollen so you dont breath it in. KalamityKel
You might want to consider ThisNo drugs involved and does relieve the sypmtoms.I try to use this as much as possible before resorting to medication. Pickle
Piriton is safe to use during pregnancy, I was prescribed it for a different condition (obstetric cholestasis, horrible) in both pregnancies from about 30 weeks onwards. Safe to use when you're breastfeeding too. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/16330-hayfever-in-pregnancy/#findComment-420714 Share on other sites
nikki73
I found my hayfever got better in pregnancy/breastfeeding so hopefully the same will happen to you. Another recommendation is to eat local honey. Not sure it'll work but worth a try I guess.doctor also prescribed piriton and beconase and some eye drops.
