Mick Mac
Monroe - Its ITV so never going to be cutting edge drama, but it was quite entertaining/amusing I thought. jaybee82
My girlfriend is a doctor and I had to watch it with "that wouldn't happen" and "that's rubbish" twittering in my ear the whole time. Apparently its more true to life than most, though the hospital is quite empty and a consultant would never give out his personal contact number (so I'm told...) I don't drink as much as you think I do and life is good. I was just commenting on his acting skills or lack of. Perhaps that's a bit unfair. He's good at what he does but always comes across as James Nesbitt. By the way I didn't watch the programme. Maybe I'll watch the next episode. PeckhamRose
I missed the first episodes of this. I love Maxine Peake and how she has so changed since dinnerladies days.Is it worth catching up?I LOVE love love The Big C though. Peckhamgatecrasher
PR, you're confusing your new series. Peake is in "Silks" which I'm thoroughly enjoying. Who could not love a barrister who steals his wig and gown? HonaloochieB
PGC I watched that episode in the company of a barrister and he shifted uncomfortably in his seat and then left the room muttering about a dodgy oyster at lunchtime.Hmmmm. HonaloochieB
Connery won an Oscar for his portrayal of a grizzled Irish cop in the The Untouchables, which he played with a grizzled Scottish accent throughout.Lazy-arsed b@stard.
