macroban
The ED Warehouse seems to be coming along nicely and it's only three months old. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1615-ed-warehouse/page/6/#findComment-80421 Share on other sites
lynchhim
Hi EddieIt's John Lynch here, one of the interested music parties that dropped off the radar.Sincere apologies for not having been in touch.Christmas, New Year, etc. etc.I have literally just moved back into the area ( it's taken me ages to find the right place - two kids in tow ).I'm still really keen on setting up a music section, but am so fucked for money ( two months deposit - it's killed me ).Would you be interested in doing a deal ?Something along the lines of, no deposit or rent up front, BUT I'll pay you the rent due out of the weekly takings.Basically, I'll pay the rent due weekly or whatever works best for both of us.I am off to OSLO next week for a music festival called By:Larm and then off to Austin, Texas for SXSW in March, but I would have someone who could cover for me.I also lost my phone the other day ( too many rum and cokes ), so e-mail is the best way to get hold of me.Let me know if you're into the idea. Thanks for being so patient.I hope everything is going well for you and I look forward to hearing from you.Best WishesJohn Lynch Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1615-ed-warehouse/page/6/#findComment-80425 Share on other sites
tommy
It was empty last Sunday morning when we arrived - maybe just opened - but it was great. We chatted to everyone, bought some nice cheeses (sampled a lot more...) and had a long chat to the Keith and his wife about photos and travelling, and the nice lady about antique rose mirrored glass - God I'm getting oldAnyway a great addition to the hig street Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1615-ed-warehouse/page/6/#findComment-80430 Share on other sites

Jeremy
It has a bit of a scout hut jumble sale feel about it if I'm honest.Would love a cake stall... there's nowhere in ED to buy decent cakes. The stall on northcross is OKish but very expensive. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1615-ed-warehouse/page/6/#findComment-84192 Share on other sites

CamberwellOz
I went here yesterday and loved it. All the stall holders were friendly and so happy to see some customers. I really do think it gets lost in the Lordship Lane haven of shops. For all you new mums or ones with toddlers. There is a great coffee shop there that was empty when I went. I think it would be a great place for yummy mummies to meet up. (And it will not annoy Matt) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1615-ed-warehouse/page/6/#findComment-102601 Share on other sites
Keef
Why don't they at least put some obvious signage on the corner of Lordship Lane... There may be signage there now, but I've never noticed it if there is... Peckhamgatecrasher
Down Zenoria Rd, Strawbs. Keith, they do have a handheld sign on a Saturday, the stallholders seem to take it in turns. I expect it's a problem with planning permission that there isn't a permnanent one. However, you can apply to the Council to put a sign on a lamppost - it costs about ?200 from memory - that may be worth the stallholders chipping in for. Sue
Crossing Zenoria road from the Goose Green end there is a big sign on the wall in front of you and a bit to the right :)Don't know if it's new, only noticed it today :) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1615-ed-warehouse/page/6/#findComment-103020 Share on other sites
