I would like to highly recommend Jackie who was very quick to reply to my message when looking on the EDF for a seamstress for minor repairs to a couple of dresses. She not only fitted me in last minute as I needed them for a forthcoming wedding, but she also made a very good job. She also does more intricate repairs and dress making.   I hope that for the sake of anyone riding or cycling in the dark, this area is very well marked and cordoned off. I have known a number of cyclists suffer extremely nasty injuries as a result of holes and cracks in the road.
