Where can I buy cake/cupcake boxes?

Any ideas? I just want a plain white folding cake box (or pack of 10 or so for future use). I want to take a few cupcakes to family this weekend and wanted to make it a bit more special than an old tin. There's tons of places online I can order them from but my recent experience with royal mail would tell me they won't be here by thurs/fri and I don't want to risk it. Anyone know any shops locally? Thanks.

I think I saw something at Sainsburys - not sure it was boxes though. They had some nice frilly cupcake cases. Their bakery section seems to be constantly growing. Perhaps someone who went recently can confirm

I've seen some nice ones in one of the card shops on Lordship Lane - can't remember the name of the shop though, sorry! It's the one with some silver jewellery in the window too...

SG - I agree the baking section is pretty amazing in Sainsburys - it gets me excited and I don't even 'bake'....the odd cupcake here and there is my limit.

Emza - I'll take a look, I think I know the card shop you mean.

Just discovered a great professional (but approachable) cookware shop by Clapham HIgh Street station (train from Denmark Hill) - they were advertising in the window that they had them in stock.

Have to say though, it's a dangerous shop to go into - so much stuff that I never knew I needed, until now! Clearly all I've been missing to turn my cooking into masterchef level!!

The ones at Sainsburys are in the party stuff area - not the baking area - hope you find them - they are lovely.

If you have no luck in Sainsbury's, I saw plain white cake boxes in one of the '?1' shops on Sydenham Road. I think it was a 3pack for something like ?2.50. The shop in on the left hand side and a couple of shops up from Superdrug. I think they close at 6 or 6.30pm.

They sell this in the Aylesham Centre (next to Morrisons) in Peckham. There is a nick nack shop next to the opticians.

There is a nice bits and bobs/hardware shop on Lordship Lane approximately opposite Soup Dragon. Not sure what it's called, but you can recognize it by all the buckets, dusters etc outside. Lots of useful, reasonably priced stuff and when I went there the other day the shopkeeper's little girl was very friendly and helped keep my little one distracted whilst I bought a few essentials :)

it's called Farmers and it stocks tons of cake boxes in different sizes. It's generally really good for baking gear.

Theres a shop in the indoor market by superdrug its facing you as you walk in, looks like a card shop at a quick glance, they sell all size boxes and anything you could need for cakes, colour, cutters, boxes, glitters etc

I have found that Rye Pac is a very good company for cake packaging. Especially for wedding cakes and cupcakes.. They have a indoor show room too. Love it

A Great website to buy cupcake/cake boxes from would have to be cake boxes europe! They sell in small qualtises and they are the Cheapest! They have the next working day delivery services! I ordered at 3.30pm and got my order the next morning XD Think you should definitely check it out :D
