I came home from work this evening to find someone had collided with my car during the course of the day, doing it extensive damage. My car is a dark blue Vauxhall Astra and was parked on Lordship Lane on the side of the road opposite the baptist church (which is on the corner of Goodrich Road).

Someone left a note on my car with a registration number and "red fiesta", but no contact details. I suspect that was a witness rather than the driver of the fiesta or they would have left me a number.

If anyone saw anything or indeed if anyone is the driver please contact me.

Many thanks!

take note to police station (right by your car if im correct), it is evidence and will be used to identify the driver of the car and contact them. You will need to fill in a "leaving the scene of the accident" form, and best to try to find the person who left the note!

goodluck - iv just got may car back 2 months after someone drove into it and drove off in the snow!!!!

    • there is a shoes and clothes recycling bin in the Plough carpark.
    • Free weights (not necessarily heavy ones) is one of the activities older people most benefit from.  They help stop muscle deterioration and promote stability in a way cardio- and weight-based-machines do not.  It is a common misconception that free weights = bodybuilders. There isn't really any substitute for free weights whereas e.g. instead of using a treadmill you can go for a walk or a run or attend a class (and it's much more environmentally friendly!)
    • Vinton and his team did an excellent job repainting inside my house after some building work, he was friendly and efficient, I definitely reccomend him.
