Family looking for local nanny

Hi,

We're based near Peckham Rye Park and are looking for a local nanny, male or female, for our son.

Small Boy is turning seven in August, an only child, and on the autistic spectrum. He's a bright, cheerful, affectionate lad with some language delay and social skills issues - basically his intentions are friendly but his skills and focus aren't always quite up to them!

We do an educational/therapeutic program with him called ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis), and would love to find a nanny who's happy to have a relationship with our friendly ABA team, who can provide tips on the best ways to communicate and work with Small Boy. Experience with special-needs kids would be useful, but not essential; he's got on great with a nanny new to special needs before now. Experience with kids his age is essential, as Small Boy is sweet-natured but cheeky and likes to test boundaries, so he needs somebody who's comfortable being firm and consistent as well as kind.

His mum works from home, so we're looking for somebody who can take him on outings during the holidays, and possibly after school/weekends during term-time as well. We'd love to find someone settled in the area who could establish a long-term relationship with him, as he's warm-hearted and gets very fond of people.

If this sounds like a good fit for you, please message us here and let us know your experience and rates. :-)

Just to clarify I'm not a grifter, this is not a con or a scam to defraud the good people of SE22, I'm not flogging anything and even if I was I'm not exactly twisting your arm. • Seems sensible. Good to see the school street going in too. That part of town could do with some public realm improvement.
    • One question that needs to be understood about both sections that proposals for changes for buses, is "are there currently problems that cause major delays alreay?"  Granted buses can be slow going north towards Rye Lane however often it is caused by either other buses at the Nigel Riad bus stop or the junction with Heaton Road which causes tail backs.  The north side of Peckham Rye (proposed bus gate beyween Scylla Road and Nunhead Lane ) never strikes me as a busy section but I don't traverse it often. However it does look like they are rerouting the 342, p12 and 78 northbound along it, removing their stop at the corner of East Dulwich Riad and Peckham Rye (a good spot for changing from a 37, 12, 197, 63 and 363 to the other buses, now forcing the change at the Nigel Road stop)  I guess the current flow patterns need to be understood o make sense of this prooposal and questions raised over passenger preferences on buses as well.
