Right so now I'm terrified of becoming a mum! It's half term and I've only been looking after my sisters kids for 2 days and they're already running out of things to do and looking at me like they're bored bored bored!

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Has anyone got any great ideas or done any amazing things which will make me look like the best auntie in the world?

God I wish Disney was on my doorstep!

Depends how old they are, but my kids and I have just filled in 1.5 hours by making and decorating gingerbread men. I have a 4 year old boy and 2.5 year old girl and they loved it. Might not be so suitable for older kids I guess (although you'd probably get much more edible looking results...)

baby booters is on at jags every morning this week, 9 am until 9.45. Suitable 18mths to 4years.

greenwich park and observatory, there is some great stuff in the new buildings, room for a bit of a run around if weather rubbish with park and river right next to you if weather bright enough.

    • Hi does anyone have a Hotwheels track (ideally which packs away neatly like the fuel can or transporter one) they've been itching to get rid of please? Needed urgently for an emergency birthday present!    Thanks!
    • Glad to hear that the cops are taking crash for cash seriously.  The situation I am aware of the driver called the police, reported it separately as dangerous motorcycling, avoided all calls from 'ambulance chasers' and subsequently got a letter from the police saying it was an unregistered rider/uninsured rider.  It was reluctantly reported to their insurers who actually did not put up the premium which was a nice surprise. So as stressful as it may be just hold firm, deny everything, take down details and report to the police.
    • Hi I am looking to join some local businesses networking events and wondering if anyone can recommend any. I know there used to be one (Cooking with Scissors) but that’s not running any more. Thanks.
    • Eats Dulwich has just reviewed Arapina, including its hot chocolate!  I assume they read the original first and  very long post on this thread before almost all of it was removed. Interesting to have another opinion!
