Alan Medic
Why, if you've nothing to say yourself? We are not your pet hamsters on a wheel. At least I'm pretty sure we're not... KidKruger
Not a pop-up.It's by Franklins farm shop.To some it'll be a premium cheese emporium with great quality and choice, to others a jumped-up over-priced privileged cheese shop which could be avoided by buying 500g 3-for-2 at Co-Op.Just to state the predictable before the diatribe begins.I'll be popping in myself for a treat now and again hopefully to learn something as apparently this guy knows his shit. DulwichFox
Could give the Cheese Block a run for it's money. Don't actually eat much cheese myself. Tend to buy Stilton (I get fads)occasionally, but it seems to sit at the back of the fridge till it goes rotten and gets thrown away. One of those food stuffs I wished I liked. Bit like Tomatoes which I have a weired phobia for. Houseoflego
I'm sorry, I will be the one to say it.The Cheese block is probably very 'cheesed off'. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/159243-mons-cheesemongers/#findComment-1156350 Share on other sites
Sue
The shop was open today! It looks lovely. It also sells bread (sadly out of my price range at nearly six quid a loaf), butter and yoghurt.Looking forward to trying some cheese once my large chunk of cheddar is finished :) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/159243-mons-cheesemongers/#findComment-1156728 Share on other sites

Seabag
Cheese Block has other items other than cheese, things like charcuterie etc. I hope both survive.Mons is new and pretty dandy. And Mr Mons is a renowned cheese monger of some repute. His shop is a place where many will flock from miles around I suspect. It looks interesting too if you look at the walls and floor, they're designed to keep the climate good for tip-top cheese conditioning.
