Kids Sewing Camp at Stag & Bow in Forest Hill July31-Aug 2

Recommended Posts

If you have a creative kid that is keen to learn how to use a sewing machine, I'm running a 3-day camp at Stag & Bow, a craft and haberdashery shop in Forest Hill. It runs 10-3pm each day.

Your creative little designer will learn everything she needs to know to become confident on a sewing machine, making all sorts of things along the way.

We'll start the camp out with learning sewing machine basics, and add new sewing and craft skills as the week goes on.

Camp highlights:

Learn to make your own skirt pattern and sew it!

Dye your own fabric

Make pom-pom crowns

And giant doughnuts!

Plus, so much more!

For ages 7+

Monday, July 31 - Wednesday, August 2

    • You said cycling was lovely because private schools are off. They’re not. You’re wrong. You are clearly trying to lean in to that ludicrous claim that private schools are the sole reason for traffic issues in the area.  Do some fact checking…..
    • I don't understand why you need to challenge what I am reporting, what I have witnessed with my own eyes, not what I have seen on line, or what I perceive to support your entrenched views.  I have cycled most days of this week.  The roads are quieter.  I expect that Dulwich College, Dulwich Prep, and Rosemead are off.  Have a cycle in the area tomorrow during school drop off times and then give me your views.  I've not cycled on Townley so can't can't comment on  JAGS and Alleyn's.  The Village was quiet too. Let's face it you have nothing substantial to say.  From my perspective you resort to snide comments.
    • Actually that's interesting. I have had the occasional call cut off, but I thought I must be leaning on something on my phone by mistake. It never occurred to me it was anything to do with iD! But I've never had problems connecting in the first place, anywhere in London (or anywhere else). Maybe I've just been lucky. The only problem I've ever had with iD/3 was quite a long time ago when the whole of the network suddenly went down for a while. I can't remember how long for. Where is Southbank way? Is that where you live, or do you mean you were writing that post while near the Southbank? What network do Libra piggyback on?
    • Hi Theron. I didn't know about Zip vans but you're the second person today to tell me about them. Really helpful, thank you!
