I'm near CPR too. When I need to get to Kings X (I've worked in Milton Keynes so used the link to get to Euston) I go from DH train stn.

Obviously you'd need to look at the latest dispute/strike/overtime ban to try and avoid delays.

You'll get timetable from NatRalEnquiries.

Which end of CPR? If it is the part nearer to Goose Green, I would walk to PR station and get the train to St Pancras, which goes every half hour, I think. If nearer the library or mid LL, a bus to DH station and then Victoria line - though it can be very congested so perhaps the 185 to Vauxhall and get on there? I would allow at least an hour to get there at that time, so leaving at 8 would be better, especially if you do the latter.

hello KK, was fine thanks, left the house at 8, bus to DH, packed train, tickets at machine, Pret for breakfast, and on my train. Painless.

I had it in mind that I would have to change at Blackfriars and relieved that this was not necessary.
