Looking for workshop tools for free / very cheap

Hello.I have a passion in engineering, electronics etc and was planning on doing engineering at gcse however my school has just dropped engineering from its subject router and I'm now faced with a situation where I can't do any projects that require anything more than a hacksaw or a drill. I would be very grateful for any old workshop tools including dremels and bench mounted grinders etc. Thank you in advanced
