Terrible roundabout Upland Road

There is a mini roundabout at the junction of upland road and Underhill Road.

For whatever reason it causes drivers to get confused and give right of way to the left rather than the right (when approaching). This isn't just a one off it seems to happen every other time for me. I live just there and so use it all the time so am used to it, but a serious crash is surely gonna happen.

There is old faded road paint, and bad signage which probably add to the confusion.

If anyone else has the same experience can you write to the council? I guess that's what I am going to do now
