Need to borrow or rent out a hoover. urgently!

HI,

can any one borrow or rent a hoover to wash out a small patch on my carpet,

my little daughter had the great idea of using my red lipstick on a white carpet and walk over it.

have you got any other advice on how to clean it??

Think I would call the carpet cleaner's round..... they have chemicals for different substances, best chance of it being removed.

It may be cheaper to first try 'Vanish Oxi Action Carpet & Upholstery Stain Remover' (Sainsburys sell it).

I recommended it to someone on a previous thread and it worked wonders for them as well as for me :

You can Rent 'Rug Doctor' from Morrisons in Camberwell, they have a red stain remover which works wonders. I think its about 20pounds for 24 hour. Not sure about the price. And you have to buy the cleaners the stain remover, I think. Cheaper than a carpet cleaner
