My daughter really enjoyed Once Upon a Potty - (Girl) by Alona Frankel. The author uses American 'mom' and 'diaper' but you can easily replace the words as you're reading it to her. It really helped my daughter understand the whole process of using a potty.

She also liked Princess Polly's Potty by Andrea Pinnington. She enjoyed pressing the 'hooray' as we turned each page. You are very welcome to borrow these books from me. My daughter is now potty trained so she won't miss them

My daughter loved 'Big Girls Use the Potty' (may have been called something different before but this is it on amazon http://www.amazon.com/Big-Girls-Use-Potty-Publishing/dp/075663928X/ref=sr_1_4?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1297624799&sr=1-4#_ ) She seemed to relate to the real photos I think. That said though, she seemed to get into it most AFTER she'd cracked the potty training - we used to read it for months on end and she loved memorising all the choices.

Everybody Poos! I never bored of reading this one to my son, he trained between 19-21 months so the info must have 'gone in' -- though it does feature a boy as opposed to a girl though most of the book features animals. Its all the same actions for both this stage though -- its so funny. Worth adding to your collection -- great images, humour etc.

Hi

I remember my eldest becoming aware of wee and poo at that kind of age but it was ages after until she was toilet trained - she was 2 years 6 months - and so far so good. Seems that most toddlers at my daughter's nursery learn to use the potty /toilet at 2-2.5 years.

'I Want my Potty' by Tony Ross is good fun.
