Seeking 5-day live-out nanny for our two early-primary children

We?re looking for an engaging, reliable nanny for our 3yo girl and 5yo boy who will both be at school full time. We are based near East Dulwich station and the role starts at the end of August.

Ideally you would cover both the morning school run (07:30-09:30) and after school (14:30-18:30), five days a week. In the mornings you would help the children with breakfast and getting ready for school. The afternoon would include school pick-up, going to after-school activities on some days, supervising homework, and cooking a simple, tasty meal. We will also consider applicants who would want to cover the afternoons only.

In school holidays we?d like you to cover 07:30-18:30, four days a week, when we?ll rely on your imagination and initiative to come up with activities that keep them entertained and developing ? be it outings, home activities or socialising.

We will ask you to help the children to keep their rooms and play areas clean and tidy, and for you to do their washing.

Relevant experience, good references and a clean UK driver?s licence are essential.

We?d love to hear from you via a private message if you're interested.

    • It looks great and I wish it had been put in place many years ago.  A few car parking spaces lost, but there is a fair amount of parking in Peckham but why would you want to drive there?  I'll be responding positively. I doubt whether there are rat runs, as most will have long since been blocked off.    Colyton Road is a horrid road to drive down, unless you really have to.  There is probably some anecdote about lazy dog walkers driving there to go round the Rye, rather than walking but no evidence.  As so many seem to hate dogs in the Rye and park may be a good thing to introduce a CPZ on Colyton.
    • Try Autotrader and a private purchase.  Unless I am mistaken you cannot do a test drive at Car Giant, and the ones you buy on line and they deliver. Never done an auction, others may advise An ex Motorbility car can be a bargain, these have been returned at the end of the lease and I expect hould have been driven sensibly and properly maintained - again others may have views but an ex-colleague swore by them https://www.cmwcars.co.uk/ex-motability/
