Very experienced nanny looking for Thursday work and occasional Fridays

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I've been a nanny in the area for about 7 years, sadly my current family (of 3 years) are getting a live in nanny to provide wrap around care now the girls are both going to be in full time school so I'm looking for new work. My Monday- Wednesday's are sorted but I need something for Thirsdays and perhaps the odd Friday too!

I'm first aid qualified, insured and Ofsted registered, have extensive experience with all ages and babies from 4 months old (but very happy to take younger) and have a fair bit of special needs experience too- ASD in particular. I'm very happy to cook healthy meals for children as well as their parents if they like! I particularly enjoy days out with the children to museums, galleries and special events.

I'd be looking to start from August/September, and am also available as a babysitting option! :-)

Thank you,

Sarah

Hi Sarah,

I saw your post and I thought I'd get in touch as I'm possibly looking for some extra childcare help around the time you're advertising for.

I'm expecting my second child at the end of September and currently have an 18month old. She is in nursery and will continue to go for 2 days a week when I go on maternity leave (Aug) but I'm concerned that I might need a little extra help here and there once baby number 2 arrives (especially in the early days).

Let me know if you fancy meeting for a coffee. I'm completely choca at work until 21st July but if you are still looking for work maybe we could meet w/c 24th?

Best wishes,

Lucy

    • Think you may mean Left and not Right, unless you are meaning the otherside of Peckham Rye coming from the direction of Colyton Road
    • Jojo Maman Bebe is closing soon. A staff member said they don't know what will replace it, but it will be something falling under the planning category of food and drink.
    • It looks great and I wish it had been put in place many years ago.  A few car parking spaces lost, but there is a fair amount of parking in Peckham but why would you want to drive there?  I'll be responding positively. I doubt whether there are rat runs, as most will have long since been blocked off.    Colyton Road is a horrid road to drive down, unless you really have to.  There is probably some anecdote about lazy dog walkers driving there to go round the Rye, rather than walking but no evidence.  As so many seem to hate dogs in the Rye and park may be a good thing to introduce a CPZ on Colyton.
    • Try Autotrader and a private purchase.  Unless I am mistaken you cannot do a test drive at Car Giant, and the ones you buy on line and they deliver. Never done an auction, others may advise An ex Motorbility car can be a bargain, these have been returned at the end of the lease and I expect hould have been driven sensibly and properly maintained - again others may have views but an ex-colleague swore by them https://www.cmwcars.co.uk/ex-motability/
