diable rouge
Shouty angry people will of course be easiest heard, but that doesn't necessarily mean they hold the majority view... The problem with Brexit is that it was only ever a concept. In it's simplest form one could say that it was primarily about leaving the EU. But we know there are many ways to do that. So you will always get ''It's not what I voted for!'' comments...usually in CAPS :) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/157024-brexit-view/page/60/#findComment-1261298 Share on other sites

Some are no doubt Putin-Bots, but there?s still a lot of them who can?t quite understand why their own personal, specific view of what Brexit should be isn?t being enacted. This is going to run and run, and probably still nothing will really change. Alan Medic
From what I understand what May is looking for is more cakism. I think it's either a no deal Brexit or no Brexit. robbin
This one, it seems. To be fair to the BBC though, so is Sky News most of the time.I'm not suggesting you will, but before anyone decides to launch into a generalised attack on me as ignorant and/or racist (on the assumption I voted to Leave) - I didn't vote to leave and I'm not (at least not racist) - but I do recognise the reality that in certain circles in London (in particular) a large majority were firmly in favour of remaining in the EU and have not got over the referendum result yet. With some reporters/commentators their views are thinly disguised, if at all. diable rouge
The BBC will say it's doing their job because a lot of Brexiters are saying it's pro-Remain, and vice versa with Remainers. The problem I have with the BBC in recent years is that it's created a rod for it's own back with it's post-referendum ideological need to provide so-called balance. That's fine up to a point, but not to the detriment that it stops the BBC doing it's journalistic duty of checking whether what's been said is factually correct. This from a journalism lecturer explains it better...If someone says it's raining and another person says it's dry, it's not your job to quote them both. Your job is to look out of the fooking window and find out which is true. :) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/157024-brexit-view/page/60/#findComment-1262719 Share on other sites
