We've probably run out of things to say.

May's attempt to satisfy both camps, with a mixed cabinet and some alignment, to be stabbed in the back by ERG and BoJo.

BoJo dropping DUP without a second thought

Tories move to the right and exodus of the moderates

BoJo managing to make the country even more divided

A worse deal and a worse PM than under May yet much of the country swallows it

On the good side it's focused my view on what't to blame - an internecine conflict on the fields of Eton

Nothing new there but thanks for letting me get this off my chest Cat

agreed.....there's nothing to say......

I?m mostly glad we didn?t actually win the Rugby World Cup

Not for the sporting prowess, it?s been a brilliant tournament. But only for the fact that Bojo and Farage might have taken it and denigrated it as some kind of ?Engeeeerland? look how mighty we can be guff.

But of course it was Corbyn?s fault too, why not.

John, I may be speaking too soon, but it looks like you should be fine. After 1st round of voting:

Harman - 72

Sir Lindsay Hoyle - 211

Dame Eleanor Laing - 113

Chris Bryant - 98

Rosie Winterton - 46

LOL - yes he won after 4 rounds with Chris Bryant in the run off and the reaction seems to be a range from 'Great' thorough 'He's a nice guy' to 'Tory stooge' (He's Labour by the way). I don't think he will be as theatrical (or as fun to watch) as Bercow.

Lots of comments I've heard on Harman I won't repeat here - she's definitely not popular with some people.

I got a load of abuse on twitter when I supported her candidature (based on the old NCCL/Liberty stuff).

This is not the drunk at a wedding reception that no one knows who he is but politely nods along to his incoherent ramblings, this is our Prime Minister. A Prime Minister who doesn't understand the deal he struck with the EU, states that NI will have a great deal because it will remain in a customs union with freedom of movement. Errrr, so if it's such a great deal why are you taking that all away from the rest of us?...https://twitter.com/ManufacturingNI/status/1192564837345353728
What you have to understand about Boris Johnson is that he doesn't really care about the detail of the deal. It's not that he is incapable, it's that he is indifferent. He's just interested in getting elected. None of it will effect his life in any discernible way.

    • hi  Anyone going through this therapy (Dab & Tram)?   Fancy setting up a support group to compare experiences?
    • We are a local Country Rock group, looking for a male singer to join us. Current line-up is drums, bass, two guitars and a female singer. We are looking for a male singer to complete the line-up.  We mostly play Country Rock and Country covers, gigging locally, for fun. We occasionally get paid, but there's probably not going to be a lot of money in it! We rehearse most weeks and have our own rehearsal space in East Dulwich. To give you an idea of the sort of music, we do songs by The Eagles, Luke Combs, Charlie Crockett, Sheryl Crow, Nikki Lane, Tom Petty, etc. If you are interested in getting involved, please reply to this post, or phone or text Matt on 07944 673185.
    • It might work as some sort of community space. Perhaps a softplay (easy access from the south circular, with parking), or arts centre. Or much needed housing. ... would like to see the skatepark retained.
    • I think Pablogrande is right here. You can't stop in a loading bay in order to go into a shop and buy something - even if you're going to load it into your car afterwards. So unless there is confusing / non-compliant signage or some other grounds to appeal I suspect you're unlikely to overturn it.
