FYI I only ever a few drinks in ED on Xmas eve - and what on earth does 'down in your cups' mean...I'm not 'down' Brexit is coming, freedom awaits....

Not content in calling PEOPLE xenophobes and racists you are now insinuating that we are alkies- how desperate are you Remainiacs...oh yes- I KNOW how bloody desperate you are- we've seen evidence of it for 3 whole ridiculous years now...

?My reason for leaving the E.U. has Nothing to do with Immigration or Xenophobia.?

Accepting this at face value - you do accept that racists and xenophobes are all on board with leaving the eu tho right? You have accepted their help for your own ends. And your ends are spurious. You think you are under the yoke of ?Brussels?

Your argument has no value.. Its Nonsense.

10 x 1,000's of decent people go to watch football each week.

Amongst them Will be Racists. Does that mean we should ALL stop going to the

match because there will be racist people there.

I do not accept Racism and Xenophobia and will confront such people.

DulwichFox.

ETA. It is worth noting that Many openly Racist types express the wish to Remain.

Are you suggesting that the majority of the 17 million people that voted to leave are racist. ?

IN or OUT of the E.U. most decent do not want racist people in our society.

I?m saying most racists voted to leave, yes. That is quite different to saying everyone who voted leave is racist. But it does underline why brexit is causing so much trouble - no one can agree on what it means. People who voted to leave but wanted single market access have been discarded

Your football analogous doesnt work because - and this is the bit you fail to grasp - going to a football match or not going affects nobody else. Leaving the eu is going to leave us all worse off

But there is zero point arguing with you

DF. Let's get back to talking about the 'Swiss Model', the form of Brexit which you say you favour. I'm pleased to see you want a 'Soft Brexit' solution that involves complying with the Schengen Treaty (although a little surprised by that, to be honest). But, even with much more open immigration rules in place (which would apply in those circumstances), there's still the fact that we would have to have the same kind of infrastructure at our borders as the Swiss do. This would be unacceptable in Ireland under the terms of the Good Friday Agreement. So how do we get round that one? I've yet to hear any convincing solutions to the problem.

How long someone has worked and lived here has nothing to do with their status and whether our glorious Home Office will grant them permanent residency. But of course you know better and even use capitals, so it must be TRUE.

Perhaps you'd like to give this lady some advice...

It's beginning to close in on Mad Dog Cummings now. He doesn't have the right to order armed police to do anything.

I saw Steve Bray accost him (via twitter) recently and he looked like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth.

Times - (I can only see the top bit without paying) have started naming names involved too. Not seen many interviews with them though. For Info - Sonia Khan is a leaver through and through and is not part of Spreadsheet Phil's rebels.

Shows the mistrust between Hammond and Cummings though - I guess May feels similar along with a few former ministers.

I?m pretty sure the reason is ignorance, so much of what you right is not based on reality

Not everything is about opinions, some things are facts

I think your chosen UserName is indicative to your own argumentative nature.

Sephiroth is the main antagonist of Final Fantasy VII, and one of the major antagonists in its extended universe.

I rest my case..

How do you know racists voted to leave ?- (mind you most people don't actually know the definition of racist)...most people who voted leave are people who have somehow been dispossessed by free movement, for example they are tradesmen who have lost work (I know of at least 6 that fall into that category) and STILL have mortgages and children to raise so cannot UNDERCUT their fees...again the Remainiacs resort to personal insults

    • That’s another big hike on the Sainsbury’s mini rolls! I spoke to one of the managers on the day of the anchovies price rise but all he could say was that his store doesn’t set the prices. Very vague and not helpful. i started this thread about price rises in  Sainsbury’s and it’s somehow being blamed on Brexit etc!
    • And the Sainsbury’s own brand chocolate mini rolls have gone from £1.15 to £1.40 overnight, so 22%-ish. I prefer them them to the Cadbury original because they have a lot more chocolate on them, presumably because they’re made in a less advanced factory. I would think that getting the Rizla thin coating of chocolate that Cadbury’s accountants demand onto a piece of sponge is quite a sophisticated operation. Discuss.
    • Another recommendation for Leon. He was able to come out to our electrical elergency within 24 hours of me contacting him. His communication was great and whilst he could not solve our problem, he was able to perform tests to identify this and did so quickly and efficiently. He charging  is very fair and his manner very pleasant. Both of these in contrast to some experiences I have had elsewhere.    happy to put my name to recommending Leon. His number is  07707 925039.
