since friday my daughter who is 2 & 5 months has refused to eat anything we have cooked her. She says she wants it and as soon as it is ready she says no and refuses point blank to eat. Has anyone else experienced this. She has also been saying her belly hurts but not sure if thats just attention seeking or whether its to do with her not eating. We keep telling her that her belly hurts because she is hungry but no luck yet

My son is coming up to 15 months and he is doing this, I spend HOURS cooking him yummy stuff and if I'm lucky he will take a bite out of it. It is driving me crazy. Some days he even refuses his favourite foods, and some days he will eat gigantic portions. I never know how much or how little he is going to eat. At the moment he seems to be OK with just one meal a day and he refuses to touch anything at other mealtimes.
Is she going to the loo more or less the same? She could have a bug if her tummy is hurting or she could be exerting her independence as a two year old would. Are you letting her feed herself or are you trying to. I think all toddlers go through this but if you're worried or it's gone on for a week maybe take her to your gp.

My daughter used to be the same. I remembered I spend lots of time to make food for her and tried to feed her. Sometimes I had to turn on the TV so I could fed her as much as possible while she was watching TV. She was extremely hard and drove me mad every dinner time.

But when she was 2.5 ys she just suddenly changed her attitude. she is nearly 3 and eats everyhting. If she doesn?t want any lunch, I don?t give her anything till dinner. Sometimes she just has 2 meals a day but she is very healthy.(even she is smaller than other children)

    • if anyone believes Reform is a party they can trust then they really don't need to be insulted by me - they are doing all the damage themselves If people don't like the state the country is in they should question why Farage fought for Brexit and why it continues to damage the country so much. He and you will splutter it wasn't done properly but if you can't see the contradictions I can't help you
    • It's not incredibly difficult to understand that people vote Reform because they don't want the Tories back and they don't like Labour and they don't like the state the country is in. It hardly makes them "criminally negligent" - in fact, Sepiroth,  you can just stop insulting people just because you don't like what they have to say - it doesn't really add to your credibility. While Sep says "What the country needs is a serious, mature electorate", what the country REALLY needs is a party that we can trust - and that we do not have.  There is no point at all in having a serious and mature electorate if we don't have a serious and mature party to get vote for.
    • mine's the same - use shears, then mow, but I only do a part of the lawn - the rest is covered in daisies, violets and other flowers, so I leave it. I have to be very careful though - we have slow worms
    • I'm watching a neighbours lawn where the grass is hourly increasing in height .Wondering how on earth they are going to tackle cutting it .
