Create link to website in a post!

Would someone kindly tell me how this is done?

I've had hit and miss success with this and can't figure out YouTube at all, but what mostly works for me is to highlight the url (bit with blah.co.uk/blah), right click on the mouse, copy and then paste into your post.

copy the url, then click on the little icon that is called 'insert url', paste url in and then you are prompted to name it.

it's the one with a picture of the globe and what looks like a paper clip - hover over the icons and a little text bubble should pop up describing what it is

The only thing with copying and pasting is that you get http etc twice. Is the only way of avoiding that to copy everything after the second /? I would have thought so. Nero

just delete the highlighted http in the dialogue box before pasting in copied details
