by William Shakespeare

with original music written by Paul Grimwood

To be performed at the Edward Alleyn Theatre, Dulwich College

Wednesday 12th, Thursday 13th & Friday 14th July at 8pm

Prospero, Duke of Milan, is robbed of his dukedom by his brother and exiled with his daughter, Miranda, to an island full of ?strange noises? and inhabited by spirits. Twelve years later, those who banished them are on the high seas near to the island. However, Prospero is no ordinary man; with his ?rough magic? and help from his spirit Ariel, he conjures up a tempest and brings together his enemies to the island. This magical tale, enhanced with original music written for this production, and with its themes of revenge, reconciliation and love is suitable for adults and children alike (recommended age 9 years and upwards).

    • Have you asked the school admissions officer? I'd imagine ED more likely than ND...
    • Help! We need an ideally professional photographer willing to work free or low cost for a few hours in Santa's grotto at our school fair. We can offer publicity amongst school community and fair visitors in return and it's always a great fun event. Plus halo shining having helped us raise vital funds for our children! Please get in touch for more details or to arrange a chat with the photographer who helped previously (she's otherwise engaged on the date). THANK YOU!
    • Agree, plus always worth emailing local councillors if community police not helpful with offering advice and support.. tho my experience is community police are very understanding  How did you find out? Police info? Robbers on bikes and scooters is rife everywhere in London sadly. My advice to my son is keep off your phone, be aware of your surroundings, stay around people and well lit roads as much as possible, and if anyone asks for phone or money hand it over without a struggle. My friend's son was mugged outside Finsbury Park station and it terrified him, robber had a knife and said he knew where be lived. Scary stuff. Near my work in the west end phone theft is rife too. Especially now certain metals are more scarce I imagine there's a real market in phones being sold on. Stay safe everyone and let's keep to practical solutions as building police presence back up will take years, so productive ideas such as more CCTV etc emailed to Ellie our local MP I feel would be far more constructive than posting critical political comments here.
