mazza7103
bit of a rant. i've lived in east dulwich for awhile now but i must say i have noticed that we in east dulwich do seem to moan for something to do almost. today we met in peckham rye for a bit of a jog and we were just going to have a quick stretch before moving on before some busy body said we should use the grassy area. now we werent blocking the path, anyone could walk through. we spent more time on the path than we would have done because of her complaining. so people of east dulwich, i ask you, do we moan for the sake of it? RosieH
Not that I've noticed. But I have noticed people in East Dulwich block paths more than they need to, so perhaps a bit of consideration on all sides is what's called for. Scribe
I can't say that I've noticed. But then again, I rarely pay any attention to pedestrian busy-bodies. Just ignore them in future, which will infuriate them further. Scribe
I can't say I've seen a specimen quite like that wagging their fingers on Lordship Lane. But I regularly see posers of this ilk being relieved of the contents of their purse by the traders/highwaymen of North Cross Road Market.http://www.absurdintellectual.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/hipster.jpg Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/15614-moaning-in-east-dulwich/#findComment-407812 Share on other sites

KalamityKel
Peckham Rye is not just the park and if you really wanna get snotty about it all SE22 covers not only Ed and peckham rye districts but also loughborough junction and herne hill which I think you'll find are not in East Dulwich. Like I said before stick to your side of the line ;-) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/15614-moaning-in-east-dulwich/#findComment-407986 Share on other sites

Jah Lush
I think you'll find that moaning is not exclusive to East Dulwich. We are (mostly) English and we love a good moan, usually about the weather. We're not called whinging poms for nothing you know.
