I've tried suggesting it within the threads themselves but..


There are several Foxtons threads/topics all dancing on the front page - wouldn't it be better to have your next pop within one of them rather than starting new ones....

I'M SO SICK OF THE F WORD


What about if we give the actual word "Foxtons" honorary status as a profanity. Then we could impose a cursing ban on the Forum and actually charge people for using the "F WORD". A pound per F seems reasonable. Maybe a whole tenner for anyone with the audacity to start a new thread with the F word in it. What would we do with all the ??????

Our Foxtons Story:


About 3 months ago we had our house on the market, with lots of interest

We suddenly got Water in our Cellar (never had before)

We had to take the property off the market

After paying a fortune to check all our pipes and drains, we went door to door to talk to neighbors

A neighboring property being let and managed by foxtons apparently had a pipe burst weeks prior

The tenants were told they would be evicted unless they kept quiet about it

We immediatly reported the situation to the council

Foxtons with heavy chasing by the council, finally fixed the pipe


I would not advise anyone to deal with Foxtons.

      Professional and high quality work. Highly recommended. Brian and his team did an excellent job repairing and repainting damaged render on the side-wall of my terraced house. The job entailed work to the ridge of the roof. Brian organised a complicated but fairly priced scaffolding design that no other company offered (while being safe and licensed). Brian rebuilt damaged brick work, render and his paint work is incredibly neat. Brian’s experience shows in his work. I had great communication throughout the job.

      Wouldn't it make more sense to ask the guy who posted the rumours for the source of the information? The Crown & Greyhound refurb was a big job - not surprising that it took longer than just a simple repainting. But renovating the Grove would be even bigger because it's totally wrecked, and there's a shortage of skilled labour and much more expensive materials now...

      Rather bizarrely, I received a text from TJ surgery offering this service. To be clear, no data was asked for in the text so I don't suspect a scam but surely this is dodgy? Where does my DNA info end up and who would have access? I'm going to the surgery on the invite date to ask precisely this.

      I used Emmaus https://emmaus.org.uk/slc/ to clear my grandfathers house last year. They were great. They all charge for this service so will come and give you a quote first.
