Has anyone else heard rumours the Peckham Rye One o'clock club is likely to close? It would be such a shame!

I was there on Thursday last week and we were all given a leaflet to say their application for funding to improve the outdoor area had been successful and would commence early to mid February. There would be minor disruption such as the site being closed for a day or 2 and the outdoor area closed for a couple of weeks. So good news and hopefully all done in time for Spring.

The fact that a previous bid for capital funding has been successful doesn't mean the day to day running costs for the future are safe from council cuts... I don't think anything can be considered safe atm
